The Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board

‘Vidyasagar’ Late Principal K. M. Kundnani began his career as a Professor and then Principal of the D.G. National College in Hyderabad, Sindh in Undivided India. Caught in the whirlwind of the partition, he came to Mumbai in the hope of resurrecting not only his career, but also to valiantly fight to rebuild his shattered institution brick by brick. His concern for hundreds of educators and students from his community who had fled to Mumbai from Sindh, inspired him to create the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board. He received active support and encouragement from Late Barrister Hotchand G. Advani. Both of them founded the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board in 1949. Both these eminent personalities played a pioneering role in the field of higher education in Mumbai and Ulhasnagar. Late Barrister Hotchand G. Advani was the founder President and ‘Vidyasagar’ Late Principal K.M.
